It's ALIVE........Tablespoon.com

So, you may have heard me mention my 'top sercret' work project in the past few months. Well, its finally live - and not a secret anymore! I'm so excited I can't even tell you. I've been working on this as a small, side experiment at General Mills for over a year now, and it is just so cool to see it come to life.

So, why have I been working on this? I think the concept is really awesome. We wanted to create a new website where you could find some of the best professionally tested recipes out there, but also a place where you can add your own. We wanted to make a website that makes it really easy to find, save, and share recipes you'll love. Right now its just lots of recipes, but over time we hope to do some really cool things that make it really fun AND easy to find something you'll personally enjoy making and eating.

All that said, I want to share it all with you.

Tablespoon.com!

So - now what? Well, I'd really love your help. The site needs people like you to make it better. Without your ratings, new recipes, and profiles - its just another web site. I'm hoping you'll check it out and see if you like it....could just be your new favorite recipe site. Here are a few things that you could do that would make me smile like whoa:

1. Sign Up!
This site is still really far under the radar.....which means you get the cats meow pick of your username!

2. Add your recipes!
I know you have some great recipes. We spent a lot of time making it really easy to add recipes from scratch, and also 'version' existing recipes to make them your own.

3. Rate some recipes!
We have over 25,000 recipes on the site - some good, some bad. Vote and bring some of the better ones to the top.

4. Create a profile!
Add a user image, and fill out some details about yourself.

5. Send me some Feedback!
I'd love to hear your comments here, or in person.

If you have a chance to look....Thanks. I'm so happy that we were able to make this happen, and know that there will be a lot more work to make it even better - and look forward to your feedback. Truly .....thank you.
